A gallery request initiated my "Strong Women" series. Returning to sculpture was like reuniting with a treasured friend. Rich with metaphor, these life-size female forms are born of delicate materials - plaster and fabric - finding stability within the layers. They are bold statements about perception and strength, adding an encouraging voice to the dialog.

Throughout our lives, society directs attention to surface beauty & sexuality. Yet, beneath our delicate surface, lay the hidden strength of one who has the quiet power to lift up and carry family and friends.
